When you start MoBar, you'll see the Main Panel first. It's where you can find all the tools and set up your workspace. Let's check out what's inside!
Categories:
- Main categories: There are 12 main categories neatly arranged on the main panel. Each category is dedicated to a specific theme and houses relevant tools. You can easily access these categories to find the tools you need for your projects.
- User categories: The new update introduces the Custom User Panels feature. This enhancement provides a more personalized and user-friendly experience. It allows users to create different panels and dock them anywhere on the workspace.
- Category Management: Customize your workspace by hiding or showing specific categories. Simply right-click on any category to open a window where you can adjust your category preferences.
Context Menus:
- Quick Access: Clicking on a main category reveals a context menu, providing quick access to the tools within that category. Simply click on any item in the list to run the tool.
- Favorites: You can mark items as favorites by clicking on the star icon, adding them to your favorite items on the main panel for quick access.
Within each context menu, you'll find three title icons:
- Help Icon: Directs you to a website where you can find documentation for the tools within that category.
- Hamburger Icon: Transforms the context menu into a dockable panel
- Detach Icon: Allows you to detach the context menu, enabling it to float freely on your screen.
Items:
- Drag and Drop: Easily rearrange your items by dragging them to your desired position on the main panel.
- Edit or Delete: Right-click on any item to quickly access options for editing or deleting it from your favorites list.
- Help Information: Hovering over an item on the main panel triggers a pop-up window, which provides useful information about the tool. This information panel only appears when the main panel is in vertical mode. In the context menu, you will see a simple tooltip.
