Split text layers into characters, words, lines with an option to convert them into shape layers
How to use
- Select a text layer in the timeline
- Choose your desired options
- Click one of the buttons to split the text
Split Buttons
- Split into Characters: Creates a separate layer for each character
- Split into Words: Creates a separate layer for each word
- Split into Lines: Creates a separate layer for each line
Options
- Delete original text layer: Deletes the original text layer after the split is complete
- Convert to shape layers: Converts the new text pieces into shape layers instead of text layers, this is useful for more complex animations
- Auto-close window: Closes the tool's window automatically after the split is performed
